Raynes Park and West Barnes Residents' Association
Serving the community since 1928

Horticultural Section

The aim of the Horticultural Section is to stimulate the interest of residents in good gardening. Membership is also open to non-residents. The annual subscription is £2.00.

The Horticultural Section arranges occasional lectures on horticultural and related subjects, as well as Spring and Summer garden competitions. The following evening mini-shows are organised during the year: June, roses; September, late flowers and pot plants; November, cookery.

On the purely social side, there are usually two or three coach trips organised during the year, as well as a Harvest Supper/social in October. The Section's affiliation to the Royal Horticultural Society allows free entry to Wisley for up to 55 members each year.

The Club meets approximately once a month from February to November, at the Tennis Club Pavilion, 129 Grand Drive. No trading is undertaken.
